Can you use iPhoto on Windows? I have a Windows 7, can I buy iPhoto and use it on my Windows? Asked by Heather D from Simi Valley; Nov 18, 2010.
Best Answer: No, iPhoto is strictly a Mac OS X (the Mac Operating System) application. But, for Macs working with Windows (including running Windows on a Mac to have things like iPhoto and Windows 7 available on the same computer), (but DEFINITELY NOT at the same time), (you have to switch Operating Systems by logging off) (PLEASE note that if you attempt to install Windows 7 without using an application called Boot Camp that is in the Application Utilities folder, you could lose all data). Also, if you bought the 'Mid 2010 21.5 inch iMac', you will need to follow certain instruction and install extra drivers under Apple Support which is called 'Boot Camp: iMac displays a black screen during installation of Windows 7' before attempting to install. You probably won't do this, but it's the closest thing to having Mac OS X and Windows XP, Vista, or 7 together. I hope this helps. • Answered by Chase L from Oklahoma City • Nov 18, 2010 •.
